River Bluff High School

Project Overview

River Bluff High School is a 525,000 SF facility on 146.16 acres of land with the capacity to accommodate up to 2,500 students. It opened in the Fall of 2013 and the design focused on the development of highly flexible, collaborative, and personalized spaces that address issues of sustainability and environmentally responsive construction.

The project was designed to achieve Silver LEED Certification and the project scope includes: flexible and collaborative learning spaces, a learning commons, performing arts center, coffee shop and cafeteria, dual gyms, state of the art media arts and music technology labs, wireless network capabilities, fully developed athletic facilities, an art gallery, and student run school store.

 
 

My Role: Intern Architect

I worked on this project through the Design Development and Construction Administration phases under the supervision of the Project Architect.
